It climbed eight positions to secure the 17th place this year while its value growth was supported by higher net interest income, increased card fees, and gains in wealth management and loan-related income. Additionally, the brand maintained its AAA brand strength rating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>OCBC Bank<\/strong> (brand value up 28% to USD6.4 billion) climbed seven positions in the global rankings, reaching 61st place. The brand\u2019s growth was driven by an increase in its interest income, supported by higher assets and improved returns on loans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile,<strong> UOB<\/strong> (brand value up 9% to USD6.1 billion) ranks 65th, down seven-places in the Banking 500 ranking this year. Despite this, the brand has steadily grown in brand value, largely spurred by its recent acquisition of Citigroup\u2019s consumer banking businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Alex Haigh, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific at Brand Finance, <\/strong>commented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><em><em><em><em>\"The exceptional 41% surge in brand value among Singapore\u2019s top banks underscores the sector\u2019s resilience and strategic adaptability. <strong>Bank of Singapore<\/strong>\u2019s debut among the world\u2019s strongest banking brands reinforces the importance of brand familiarity and customer trust in driving long-term value. This follows two years of sluggish 2% brand value growth and reflects the banking sector's ability to sustain momentum despite market volatility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chinese banking brands continue to dominate the ranking, with <strong>ICBC (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China) retaining its position as the most valuable banking brand in the world for the ninth consecutive year<\/strong>, growing 10% to USD79.1 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UK neobank <strong>Revolut is the fastest-growing banking brand globally<\/strong>, with a <strong>795% increase in brand value to USD1.9 billion<\/strong>, driven by strong revenue growth, customer expansion, and significant marketing investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indonesia\u2019s <strong>BCA retains its title as the world\u2019s strongest banking brand<\/strong>, with a <strong>BSI score of 97.1\/100<\/strong> and an elite AAA+ rating.
