Three key sectors\u2014banking, leisure &amp; tourism, and insurance\u2014account for 50% of the total brand value, with banking leading the charge, followed by tourism\u2019s resurgence and the insurance sector\u2019s expansion amid heightened risk-consciousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DBS <\/strong>(brand value up 56% to USD17.2 billion) continues its reign as Singapore\u2019s most valuable brand for the 13th consecutive year, maintaining its AAA brand strength rating. This growth stems from higher net interest income, increased card fees, and gains in wealth management, loan-related fees, and investment banking, highlighting the bank\u2019s resilience and multifaceted revenue streams. Securing second place is <strong>OCBC Bank<\/strong> (brand value up 28% to USD6.4 billion), followed by <strong>UOB<\/strong> (brand value up 9% to USD6.1 billion) in third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Making an impressive debut in this year\u2019s ranking, <strong>Bank of Singapore<\/strong> (brand value at USD847 million) emerges as Singapore\u2019s strongest brand, boasting a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 94.7\/100 and an AAA+ rating. Brand Finance\u2019s market research has found that the brand has high levels of familiarity within Singapore while strong customer preference contributed to its high BSI score. <strong>Changi Airport<\/strong> (brand value up 13% to USD765 million), comes in second with a BSI score of 94.4\/100 with an improved brand strength rating from AAA to AAA+, reflecting its enduring appeal and service excellence. <strong>Marina Bay Sands<\/strong> (brand value down 4% to USD5.9 billion), follows closely as Singapore\u2019s third strongest brand, maintaining a BSI score of 93.9\/100 and an AAA+ rating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Alex Haigh, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific at Brand Finance, <\/strong>commented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><em><em><em><em><em><em>\"<em>Singapore\u2019s brand landscape is evolving, driven by strategic expansion and shifting consumer trends. Banking remains the dominant sector, with <strong>DBS<\/strong>, <strong>OCBC<\/strong>, and <strong>UOB<\/strong> leading the way alongside new entrant <strong>Bank of Singapore<\/strong>, while the revival of tourism strengthens brands like <strong>Changi Airport<\/strong> and <strong>Marina Bay Sands<\/strong>. <strong>Grab<\/strong>\u2019s rapid ascent highlights the growing power of digital platforms and innovation in shaping brand success. This year\u2019s rankings showcase a nation balancing economic stability with forward-thinking transformation.\u201d<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Grab<\/strong> (brand value up 85% to USD 1.1 billion) achieves the distinction of being Singapore\u2019s fastest-growing brand of 2025, vaulting from 26th to 14th place in the rankings. Its remarkable ascent is propelled by stellar performances in food delivery, mobility, and financial services, with food delivery rebounding from a post-pandemic decline to record-breaking revenues, while mobility benefits from surging user engagement. Higher consumer spending and advertising revenue have further fuelled its growth, while AI-driven innovations have strengthened its super-app ecosystem, reinforcing Grab\u2019s position as a leading platform in Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other highlights from Brand Finance\u2019s Singapore 100 2025 report:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Great Eastern<\/strong> (brand value up 36% to USD4.8 billion) moved up one rank to fifth place. Higher policy rates offset inflation, while investment profits strengthened its financial position despite rising claim costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Singtel<\/strong> (brand value up 2% to USD4.1 billion) ranked sixth among Singaporean brands, driven by NCS growth and strategic AI and data centre investments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The national carrier, <strong>Singapore Airlines<\/strong> (brand value up 22% to USD2.7 billion) maintained seventh place in the ranking. The airline stood out as a preferred brand among consumers, reinforcing its reputation for premium service and reliability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New entrant <strong>Agoda<\/strong> (brand value at USD 1.5 billion) ranks ninth among Singapore\u2019s 100 most valuable brands. By leveraging Booking Holdings and its APAC reach, it strengthens its presence in travel and hospitality sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>FairPrice<\/strong> (brand value up 19% to USD1.2 billion) climbed up four ranks to be placed at 11th among the top 100 Singaporean brands<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PropertyGuru<\/strong> (brand value at USD75 million), secured 69th place in this year\u2019s ranking, highlighting its growing influence in Singapore\u2019s property technology sector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sustainability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brand Finance also assesses the brands consumers consider most committed to sustainability. The 2025 Sustainability Perceptions Index will be released later this year, revealing which brands are perceived to have the strongest commitment to sustainability globally, the changing role of sustainability in driving demand, and the large amounts of value at risk, being missed, and being secured by the world\u2019s biggest brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FairPrice<\/strong> is the top-ranked Singaporean brand for its perceived environmental and social sustainability efforts, while <strong>Changi Airport<\/strong> leads in governance sustainability.
